eating disorders

For those with eating disorders, food is anything but pleasurable.  Constant repetitive thoughts about whether or not to eat, what to eat, how much to eat, what you ate earlier, calories, etc are inescapable. Concerns of weight and size take over leaving very little, if any, room for the many joys that life has to offer.

True and lasting recovery is possible. When I work with clients, there is of course a goal of adequacy; but flexibility, variety, and elimination of food rules and fears are equally important. You can escape from the eating disorder, and I want to help.
