Where are you located?
The office is located in Silver Spring, MD and is accessible by bus and walking distance to the Silver Spring metro station (red line).

Is there parking?
Yes. There is a parking garage across the street as well as street parking available.

What are your fees and do you take insurance?
Although I am not in network with any insurance companies, I will provide the necessary paperwork to submit for reimbursement. Call your insurance company prior to the first appointment to find out how much they will reimburse.  Contact me for fee information.

What ages do you serve?
I work primarily with adults.

Do you work with all genders?
Because eating disorders and body image concerns can affect anyone, I welcome people of all genders. I have a particular interest in working with transgender and non-binary clients.  These populations are disproportionately affected by eating disorders.  Compared to 1-3% of the general population, 15% of transgender individuals report being diagnosed with an eating disorder.* When considerations are taken into account for sexual orientation, rates of up to 25% have been reported.  There may be many contributing factors to these heartbreaking statistics but, whatever the reasons, I am here to support you and help you find peace with food and your body.

Do you treat other nutrition concerns?
While I specialize in eating disorders and weight/body image concerns, I also have an interest in nutritional needs related to pregnancy and clients who are vegetarian or vegan.

Do you collaborate with higher levels of care?
If you require a higher level of care such as a partial hospitalization or residential treatment program, I can help you through the process of getting connected to these resources.  If you are leaving a higher level, I can help you with the transition back to life at home.  We will work together to gently move away from the structure of a meal plan towards a more intuitive relationship with food.
